Victoria Klausen

Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) & Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC)

Counselling to help you find your way back to yourself.

My name is Victoria Klausen (she/her) and I was born and raised in beautiful North Vancouver. I’m a Capricorn, love to cycle and swim and to dabble in different creative projects, from pottery to watercolour to crochet.

I have over 7 years of experience working and volunteering in the mental health field. These experiences have taught me so much about people from all walks of life, how to remain curious and to always hold hope that change is possible. I completed my Master in Counselling at City University and am passionate about helping folks navigate life’s ups and downs with compassion and a bit of lightness. I currently practice at Peak Resilience, a counselling practice in downtown Vancouver. To read more about my approach to counselling and the types of clients I often work with, click below:

Session Offerings

Consultation Call

This is a free 15 minute call with the goal of learning a little about what brings you into counselling and for you to gauge if you’d like to work together. This is a space for you to ask questions, get clarity and get to know me a little as well!

Individual

This work is done one-on-one, either in person or virtually. We will start by looking at a plan for counselling that fits both your schedule and budget. We may work together for the short term or the long term, depending on your needs and goals are. This work may look at current stressors, explore the ways the past shapes us, and establish new tools for navigating life on your terms.

Relationship

This work brings two individuals into the counselling space. This work is often helpful at addressing conflict, communication struggles, trust issues or after an acute issue such as infidelity. For some folks, this work can be done as a way to maintain a healthy relationship, not necessarily because something is “wrong”. This work can be done between romantic partners, family members or friends.
